Weight Loss:

There are plenty of weight lossfocused workouts you can easily perform from home. We recommend choosing a form of cardio, as these workouts are known to burn more fat. 

We recommend High-Intensity Interval Training, or HIIT, as a way to practice cardio and challenge your body on your own schedule. These fun workouts allow you to perform short, intense bursts of cardio, like jumping rope or burpees, on a regular basis—often with major results. 

Strength and Muscle-Building:

Sure, you might have a few pieces of equipment at home, but most bodybuilders tend to hit the gym for their heavy lifting. That’s why we recommend that athletes should focus on using routines that utilize their own body weight during their home workout. At Jack City, we offer an in-house class called Bodyweight Bootcamp, which helps athletes do just that. Once you’ve learned from our class, you can take your new skills home to use any time.

Increased Flexibility and Core Strength:

We’re going to let you in on a little secret: most workouts that strengthen your core and flexibility have always been possible to do from home. Generally, there isn’t much equipment or space needed for these types of routines—but a good workout mat or a medicine ball will be a big plus.

Pilates and yoga are some of the most well-known, but they aren’t the only core-strengthening workouts you can do at home. Now might also be the time to finally perfect your crunch form—your core and abs will be thrilled.
