• My trainer is my favorite part of my training. Rachelle is creative with the workouts she gives me and challenges me in ways I would not do for myself. She is supportive and encouraging with a great smile.     1. Why did you partner with JCF?

      I had absolutely no knowledge what a personal trainer could do for me, but I was thinking of my age and that if I wanted to continue to be involved in the sports I love, a strong body could only help.

    2. Please describe life before JCF and now life with JCF?

      I am as active as ever since joining Jack City Fitness, but aging in a fitter way. My BMI decreased, helping me be leaner but stronger, which was one thing I was hoping for. I am certainly skiing stronger and can see I have better endurance, leg wise, on the slopes and think my stronger core is helping make me a better kayaker.

    3. If someone was on the fence about JCF, what would you tell them?

      I would guess that most of us do not have the expertise to put together a healthy, exercise routine and stick with it. It is amazing how Rachelle can put together gym sessions that build off one another and in so many different ways. I am never bored with our workouts.

    4. Any accomplishments since joining JCF?

      Whitewater kayaking the Main Salmon River- upright the whole way 🙂

    • Because of Jack City Fitness, I have seen incredible results on the volleyball court. My strength and agility have increased dramatically. Without Jack City Fitness, I wouldn’t be the volleyball player I am today.

      I’ve never in my adult life been in good physical shape. Not overweight, but not healthy either. If felt at my age it was a now or never situation.

    2. Please describe life before JCF and now life with JCF?

      I’ve lived with autoimmune issues for nearly 30 years. Fibromialgia, CREST, Sjogren’s Syndrome…something on my body hurts at any given time. Since working with Tim, I am stronger, more flexible, and much more willing to go out and meet the day.

    3. If someone was on the fence about JCF, what would you tell them?

      Absolutely! Go for it!

    4. Any accomplishments since joining JCF?

      My energy level has improved so much. Last month I walked up the stairs at Taco Bell Arena, and I noticed that at the top, my legs didn’t burn and I wasn’t out of breath! I even go out in public in my “workout gear”. I’ve never even owned work out gear before last year. My husband tells me he’s proud of me. I’m pretty proud of me too!

    • The training at Jack City allows me to push myself and set attainable goals in strength, endurance, and overall fitness. It’s been a huge mental lift as well as a physical and healthy lift. It has really set up a different lifestyle for me. The great thing about Jack City is that the trainers will push you, but also know that every person is different in what they can handle. They will work within the parameters and limits needed.

      We partnered with Jack City Fitness mainly because we were following a trainer. Turns out that we ended up loving all the people that work there and wanted to help us meet our goals.

    2. Please describe life before JCF and now life with JCF?

      We both worked out. I played tennis regularly and ran some races now and then. Brad, played softball, pick up basketball and ran. Although we were active, we weren’t really focused on being the best we could be. I started first and saw some amazing results. My main goal when I started was to lose 5 pounds. But, I found that the weight wasn’t that much of a concern after a few months. I saw my body fat go down, my muscle go up. I had a lot more definition in my arms, legs and abs. Who doesn’t want that?! Brad quickly followed and has saw similar results. He’s lost 30 lbs and continues to become stronger everyday. This isn’t just something we do now and then. This is our lifestyle. We look forward to working out everyday. We both have seen such an improvement In our bodies and the way we attack each day. In addition, the other sports we play have also improved from our strength training.

    3. If someone was on the fence about JCF, what would you tell them?

      Try it! You will not be disappointed. You will have to put the work in and may not see the results you want overnight. But I guarantee you that you will be stronger, leaner, and happier.

      After I turned 40, my knees and my hips started to bother me. I had continually been gaining weight for the past decade. Even though I had been considering it for years, this finally scared me enough seek out a personal trainer. I had belonged to a different gym at the time, and I just wasn’t comfortable there—in fact, I was essentially paying for a membership that I never used. I shopped around and Jack City Fitness had the friendliest people who seemed the most willing to tailor a workout routine to fit my needs and abilities. I liked the gym setup and I would be remiss if I didn’t say the cleanliness of the gym impressed me. I doubt there is a cleaner gym.

    2. Please describe life before JCF and now life with JCF?

      Before I started at Jack City Fitness I was making poor food choices every day due to poor planning, I was tired all of the time, and I woke up every morning feeling terrible. My knees, hips, and feet killed me when I got out of bed in the morning. I pretty much felt like I had a lifestyle hangover and I wasn’t exercising at all. I’m really close to hitting the 50-pound mark and although I still have a lot of work to do, I wake up feeling great. My workout routine has caused me to sleep so much better and when I do get out of bed I’m the good kind of sore, not like before. Because I like seeing positive results, it’s motivated me to spend more time meal planning. When I first started, I was nervous because I felt like I didn’t belong in a gym setting. Now if I skip a day, I feel a little bummed and feel like something is missing.

    3. If someone was on the fence about JCF, what would you tell them?

      I would tell them my only regret is that I didn’t join Jack City Fitnesss years ago.

    4. Any accomplishments since joining JCF?

      I’m getting super close to having lost 50 pounds since my first personal training session.
