Alicia Parker

Fitness Coach

For more than seven years, Alicia has worked as a fitness professional in multiple environments, including boutique fitness studios, a structured weight-loss program, and as a high-demand trainer with one-on-one appointments as well as Small Group Training classes.  As a former collegiate soccer player at Oklahoma State University, Alicia turned her passion for athletics into a career helping people improve their general fitness, health, and well-being.

Working with a variety of clientele such as the general population, athletes, kids, seniors, high-level executives, and those who are weight-loss focused provides a variety in program designs and keeps every day new and exciting. As a fitness professional, she likes to see positive goal-achieving results, but she especially loves watching clients learn and implement healthier lifestyle choices in their daily routine.

Recently moved from Dallas, Texas, Alicia is ready to use her knowledge and experience to inspire the JCF community!

Beyond The Gym

    • Let’s get Real. What is your largest health and fitness thorn? How do you prune this thorn?

Consistent Lifestyle. The public views “working out” or “diet” as a short-term fix for disfunction. Ultimately being a healthy is a lifestyle choice and not a trend or fad. I coach patience and simplicity to build strong foundations of a healthy routine. Unfortunately, there is a lot of mis information out there and it can be very overwhelming and confusing. I advise to focus on one thing at a time making it simple and practical to establish and maintain long term change.

    • Results matter Most. Why are you a Personal Trainer? What motivates you to Coach people?

As a former collegiate soccer player at Oklahoma State University, I turned my passion for athletics into a career helping people improve their fitness and health. I love educating and leading people to a healthier lifestyle. To accomplish personalized goals, it starts with creating and executing a custom plan including mobility, cardio, resistance training as there is no “cookie cutter effect”. Every person is different, and each program design is custom to each. Whether we see improvement in day, week, month, or year results are results. Yes, it is fantastic to lose weight and build muscle but, in the end, I am coaching people to become healthy role models and leaders for their friends, family, and community. Education is power and I want to share my passion and knowledge to the community.

    • Education is Success. How are you better than all the other personal trainers? What makes your Coaching different?

Being in the industry for almost 10 year I have worked with a variety of clientele such as the general population, athletes, kids, seniors, high-level executives, and those who are weight-loss focused. I have provided a variety of program designs which keeps every day new and exciting. My background includes pain management, sport performance, nutrition, and Olympic weightlifting. With my knowledge, I can pull from many different areas to continuously create progressive and exciting programming. Besides education, my passion and energy are present from the first session and beyond.

    • Are you human? Who are you outside of the Gym? What are some of your hobbies you enjoy?

My family recently moved from Dallas, TX to be closer to the mountains and spend more time outdoors. In my free time I love skiing, trail running, hiking, and biking at Bogus Basin. The Gem state is packed with endless outdoor recreation, my husband, dog, and I are exploring the state one campground and ski hill at a time! The city and state is so beautiful and we take any chance for activity or adventure outdoors. If we are not in the foothills, we are checking out new restaurants, farmers markets, breweries, and wineries.

    • You’re my People. When is the best time to connect with you? How do you like to meet new clients/friends?

Easiest way to connect with me is to text or email. Love meeting new faces at JCF but also out on the trails. Let us go hike or ski!
