Rachel Weber

Fitness Coach

Rachel began her journey into fitness at a young age while playing a variety of sports ranging from volleyball to track to gymnastics. She comes from a big family of ten kids, and because of that, she has learned to appreciate each person for their own individual and unique personalities and abilities. Rachel was asked to coach volleyball for a youth girls’ team at age twenty, and from there her interest for fitness grew. She has experience prepping clients for shows, functional training, strength, and injury prevention for athletes.

Over the years, she’s learned how much a person can control the way their body responds to a program by utilizing nutrition to aid the process and by learning a sustainable lifestyle instead of a quick fix. The difference fitness has made in her own life is amazing. She is managing stress and emotions much better, and carrying a confidence that she never had before. This will translate to every facet of an individual’s life; she loves being able to share what helped her and allow her clients to discover the same lifestyle!

Rachel believes each and every person has a different story and as a Personal Trainer she wants to help them discover their own potential in life. Regardless of whether a person has never stepped foot into a gym before or has been an athlete all of their life, she can help them achieve their goals by giving them the tools needed to live a healthier lifestyle. She encourages focusing on the small goals first to achieve long term success later. She will tailor nutrition and training directly to each client’s goals and will continue to motivate them with results.

Beyond The Gym

    • Let’s get Real. What is your largest health and fitness thorn? How do you prune this thorn?

Guilt is my thorn– I tend to get down on myself and create a cycle in my mind that is very defeating if not handled properly. It starts with almost surrendering to any negative thought pattern that starts to creep in regarding food, or lack of exercise that week or month etc. Facing that it happened and moving on. I have a tendency to dwell, and it can be the death of me. I genuinely love healthy food and exercise and creating a mindset that allows the bad days to pass, and move on quickly with a bit of humor to the next step is something I’ve been trying to establish this past year. Food is a gift, being able to move my body is also a gift, I won’t allow any wrong choices to ruin that truth in my heart.

    • Results matter Most. Why are you a Personal Trainer? What motivates you to Coach people?

I became a trainer like most because I saw what it did for my own mind and body, and wanted to share this with the world on a deeper level. As my life has changed, and my mind/body after kids as well; I’ve transitioned into a much deeper appreciation for what honoring our health can and will do! My mental health suffered tremendously when I transitionited to motherhood, not understanding the needs and nutrients I needed most during that time. So my goal now is to help women, pre/during/post with this journey with the lessons I’ve learned and share the truth with them! America is uninformed when it comes to pregnancy/postpartum needs physically and mentally. I hope to help bridge this gap.

    • Education is Success. How are you better than all the other personal trainers? What makes your Coaching different?

I think each trainer has a gift or two that the share with the world, mine is empathy, and creating an open space for people to share their lives and feel comfortable. In that regard I am able to create lasting friendships with people, because of my ability to understand and guide them softly on their journey. It’s definitely not my training style (whatever that means) but I love to learn and take things I learn from each trainer and create a hybrid training program for my clients. It’s different in that your either born with the ability to create that space or your not – it can’t be taught and God has graced me with it.

    • Are you human? Who are you outside of the Gym? What are some of your hobbies you enjoy?

I think so. I enjoy being a wife and mother – I like the challenges it brings. It makes me a stronger person and basically takes me to the brink of myself every day. It forces me to think outside of myself and care for others which is very rewarding to me. I can be addicted to my feelings, and be too inward so it pulls me out and makes me grow. I love laughing with them, and being silly! I love pride and prejudice, book or movie.. Lord of the rings… harry potter… and FOOD. That’s me in a nutshell!

    • You’re my People. When is the best time to connect with you? How do you like to meet new clients/friends?

Right after my morning coffee. I like organically making connections in person, or through other people. Formal makes me uncomfortable, but I understand that’s life and sometimes necessary. Same with friends, I believe God brings certain people into your life for a reason and it just happens!
