Jacqueline Armstrong

National Academy of Sports Medicine - CPT

Jacqueline is a mother to 4 spirited children that constantly keep her on her toes. Originally from Orange County, CA she grew up spending her time at the beach or playing outside with friends and family. During her first pregnancy, she obtained employment at a 24 hour fitness in the daycare center, where she was introduced to the world of weight training. While working there, she learned that one of the head coaches had fully healed himself through weight training after suffering serious injuries in a bad car crash. The same coach offered to teach her some movements to support her body through pregnancy and just like that-her passion for fitness was born. Jacqueline fell in love with not only how weight training impacted her body, but how it cleared her mind. It was a healthy outlet where she could empty the days stresses, support her body and create discipline.

Once she “caught the bug”, she dove head first into researching everything she could regarding fitness, and how to properly manipulate/stress the body. Now she is able to utilize this knowledge to help empower others on their fitness journey. Although Jacqueline loves helping any individual from any walk of life, she has a heart for the mamas. Motherhood is an incredible honor, that comes at times with great sacrifice, often at the mother’s expense. Therefore, she loves the ability to educate mamas in regard to the benefits of exercise, and how ultimately, it will make a positive impact on who they are as parents. Her desire is to empower women to pour back into themselves to feel their best; not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well through consistent and proper movement.

Lastly, she firmly believes that implementing a new routine, or habit is so much easier when you have someone to keep you accountable. Jacqueline LOVES to encourage others in any and every stage of their fitness journey and understands how closely related mental health is with physical fitness. Jacqueline has struggled herself with mental health challenges, and consistency in regard to her overall health. However exercise turns the key in the door, allowing individuals to unlock their greatest potential to achieve the life that they deserve. No one deserves to be unhappy, uncomfortable, sick and tired. It is our God given right to access a quality of life that is beyond mediocre and taking that first step in the door at JCF is what will get you there. Why NOT you?

Beyond The Gym

    • The largest thorn in regard to my fitness journey is probably my mind. . Although I possess the ability to lock in and get my responsibilities handled with grit and determination, there are times my mind can get in the way. If I am not taking the time to slow down, process, reconnect, and reflect, I can make excuses for myself in regards to the gym. “Oh I am too busy”, “ I need to get home to the kids”, “ I need to give myself rest”. If I do not remain aware of my thought life, and stay honest with my circle, I go in overdrive, lose focus, and then burn out.

    • I absolutely love people. I love making people smile, feel safe, feel like they belong. In today’s world we are so busy, so predisposed that we have lost a lot of that genuine interpersonal connection, with others and ourselves. When I coach someone, I am not just helping them fine tune their physicality; I am

helping them to create structure and stability, establish boundaries, increase self esteem, and become more aware of what is going on internally. It’s the coolest thing to watch someone come home to themselves.

    • Luckily, by the grace of God, I landed at the best gym in the world. In all seriousness, I learn much better “hands on” and for years would study the best in the industry, watch videos and listen to podcasts on all things training. However, since joining Jack City, I have been able to learn along side of the most incredibly intelligent, god-gifted humans I know. It is truly remarkable to see how much they know about the human body, and their ability to really help their clients get strong and heal. I have been able to utilize their knowledge to apply with my clients and the results have been amazing.

    • Yes, I promise I am a human! Outside of the gym I am a full time mama to 4 incredible human! We love doing all the adventures both indoors and out! We live in an awesome neighborhood, so most of summer is spent outside with friends on our blow up water slide. However, we also love going to the river, snowboarding, exploring new parks, and spending time hanging out or BBQing with our little village. I also LOVE baking. It’s a love language of mine and very therapeutic for me.

    • Honestly I am a social butterfly! I love meeting new people. I am always down to check out a new hiking spot, little beach along the river, the new coffee shop that just opened up, or a good burger!
